The sun shines in the day. 

I feel it’s rays upon my skin,

No one knows where I’ve been.

Yeah, I like to paint the town red.

Oh, I prefer nighttime instead.

"Rose at the Rainbow's End," A LOVE SONG

VERSE:                       

There is a rose at the rainbow’s end. 

It blooms for the brokenhearted. 

There is a rose at the rainbow’s end.

It stands for those torn apart. 

Nothing can make its petals wither.

It’s found at the end of a raging river.

There is a rose at the rainbow’s end.

 

CHORUS:       

The colors merge into one flower, 

And it holds the power of light and love.

If you breathe in its beautiful scent, 

It’s been said your life will be well-spent.

There is a rose at the rainbow’s end.

You’ll find it when you least expect it.

Sometimes the clouds above protect it.

It’s the rarest bud you could come across.

Once you find it, you’ll never be lost.

Dressed in your overalls,

You have a shovel in your jeans.

Gloves up to your elbows,

Of sunshine and flowers.

You get lost for hours.
