"Christmas Gingerbread Man," A MERRY CHRISTMAS CAROL

VERSE:

I need a Christmas Gingerbread Man,

Of sugar and spice and everything nice,

Of hot chocolate, peppermint, and cinnamon fingerprints.

Eyes like candies and marshmallow dandies,

Someone who is soft, someone who is warm,

Who will sweeten at night through the holiday storm.

I need a Christmas Gingerbread Man.

CHORUS:

His disposition would be simple

With a smile and a laugh.

He wouldn’t melt by the fire.

He would be my better half.

VERSE:

I need a Christmas Gingerbread Man,

Of nutmeg and honey and someone’s who’s funny,

Of molasses and butter who makes my heart flutter.

Tastes like gum drops and sings like a music box,

Someone who is kind, someone who is mine,

Who is more than the average cookie cutter design.

I need a Christmas Gingerbread Man.

CHORUS:

His disposition would be simple

With a smile and a laugh.

He wouldn’t melt by the fire.

He would be my better half.

BRIDGE:

A lavish display of fanciful fun!

Delicious to be with and second to none.

CHORUS:

His disposition would be simple

With a smile and a laugh.

He wouldn’t melt by the fire.

He would be my better half.

VERSE:

Someone who is soft, someone who is warm,

Who will sweeten at night through the holiday storm,

I need a Christmas Gingerbread Man.

TAG:

I need a Christmas Gingerbread Man.

I need a Christmas Gingerbread Man.
